Last weekend was a day we will not soon forget for us at Landelijkhuisje. For the first time we participated in a market, and not just any market, but The Dickens Festijn in Drunen. I would like to share with you our experiences and the fun we had with our team.
The day started early because at 10:00 am we were ready in Drunen and started setting up our stall. We have all been busy decorating the stall as cozy as possible with green decorations and home accessories. Everything was in place by half past twelve, just in time for the first curious visitors.
During the day we were surprised by visitors dressed as Dickens figures, who passed by in beautiful carriages. It added a special and festive atmosphere to the market. It was very nice to see how people dressed up and were completely absorbed in the nostalgic ambiance.
What made the day extra special was meeting both familiar and new faces. Our green decorations and home accessories were clearly popular, and we received countless positive responses. It was heart-warming to see how our products contributed to the coziness and warmth that characterizes The Dickens Festijn.
The success of the day was not only in sales, but especially in the fun we shared with the visitors. It was great to experience how our passion for rural living and decorating was shared with others. We sincerely hope that those who have purchased our products will enjoy them in their homes for a long time.
