We proudly present our new high-quality wall & ceiling primer, an essential element for a durable and flawless end result. It not only provides a smooth surface for the finishing coat, but it also strengthens the adhesion of the paint to the substrate, making the colours brighter and more durable.
Primer di Muro is a matt wall & ceiling primer for indoors. This water-based primer has several important properties that you as a professional or do-it-yourselfer can use. For example, this wall primer offers excellent adhesion on untreated surfaces, it has extremely good coverage, it isolates light soiling from moisture stains and nicotine and it reduces the absorption of the surface. In addition, it is very easy to process and to paint over with all Carte Colori interior wall paints.
Application
Preparation
Make sure you prepare well before you start painting. Make sure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, dust and grease free. Remove all loose flaky old paint layers. Thoroughly clean previously painted dirty walls with clean water and universol. For powdery, existing surfaces with many repair spots or newly plastered surfaces, we recommend pre-treating with Primer Di Muro. Seal seams and fill holes before applying the primer. Tip: Acrylic sealant (Sudal acryrub CF2)
Apply
Always apply one coat of Primer di Muro first and let it dry for at least 4 hours, then apply the finishing coat.
